About

Walking the Appalachian Trail helped save my life. Walking the Continental Divide Trail gives me the opportunity to help save others. The Listening Place is an organisation in London that offers ongoing face-to-face support to people at serious risk of ending their own lives. It costs them about £260 to see one person through their darkest times. £260 to save a life.

The Continental Divide Trail is over 3000 miles and the most challenging and remote trail in America; I estimate it will take me between 5 and 6 months to complete it. That’s about 26 weeks. So for every week I walk, my goal is to raise enough money for The Listening Place to save one life. A life a week.

I'm going to be documenting this hike in great detail, but this fundraising page is in its very beginning stages! I'm working on setting up a blog to offer more information about me, my hikes, and everything else around it, and will edit this page accordingly.
