About
As you know I have a life long love of my long locks! To help my sister raise the money she needs to send my niece to NAPA and DMI on the Fly I will be shaving my head! I would love to get as close to the target before the date of the great shave in March, so please donate if you can. For more information on tis amazing cause please rad below. In addition to the equipment Elodie desperately needs, her Mum has also been applying for her to have Intensive Model of Therapy (IMOT) treatment. When treating children with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders. This treatment model is increasingly used throughout the world as patients, therapists, and doctors recognize it’s many benefits and outstanding results. Therapists create a customised program for each patient that varies in time, duration, intensity, and tools used. Children often advance to the next developmental skill or higher during the program. in the last intensive Elodie went o last year within 2 days she learnt to turn her head more frequently and gained and increase in her trunk and head control. In 2024 Elodie's mum has managed to secure an IMOT place at the brand new NAPA centre in Harlow, she will receive speech and language, DMI therapy, physiotherapy, Neurosuit, Spider Cage and Speech and language and spinal stim, for 4 hours a day over a three week period. Elodie's mum has also worked tirelessly to bring a world leading DMI professional over from the states for more intensive DMI therapy (DMI on the Fly). Understandably this amazing progressive therapy (not available on the NHS or privately locally) come at a cost, plus accommodation and travel will cost in excess of £10,000. Please donate today to this amazing cause and I will shave my head to celebrate when we do!
