About
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Your support is invaluable to us and very much appreciated.

From 25th - 27th June 2021, a group of teachers and parents from King Athelstan Primary School will be taking on a gruelling challenge. We will be hiking the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in 24hrs, to raise funds for the school. It will be tough and will involve a lot of physical and mental strength, but we are confident we will conquer the challenge. Your support will make all the difference!

As many of you may know, the school has undertaken a significant project of renovating the KS1 and KS2 playground (The Big Outdoors Project) which is very exciting, but also very costly. You may have seen the fantastic KS2 playground which is now complete and we are now raising funds for the KS1 playground! We have come up with this challenge to help the school raise some funds to go towards the renovation.

On average, our children spend half or more of their time at school than at home during a normal week. This is certainly a big drive for us to try and help the school improve their facilities. There is certainly a common passion shared amongst us for the outdoors, and this is one of the many reasons we would like to help with this project. We would simply like our children and pupils to enjoy a lovely outdoor area, where they feel happy and safe.

This challenge is not just about raising money, it is also about showing the young children at school what can be achieved through hard work, grit and determination.

Please dig deep and sponsor us. Every penny will go directly to the school and this wonderful initiative.

Thank you

Tania, Darren, Kristina, Barbara, Caitlin, Emma and Claire
