We are currently fundraising to take 30 Young People from Pulse of the Place to New York in April 2023 to perform in the Tartan Day Parade. This was cancelled in 2020 due to the Pandemic. Pulse of the Place was formed in 2006 and is a youth samba drumming band where sessions are free to young people and there is no audition process. Pulse of the Place have played at many events over the years the biggest being at the Paralympics at the Olympic Park in 2012. We entered into a partnership with World Fair Trade Tartan a few years ago. This has enabled us to start a gentle educational process of Fair Trade and why that is important. We are now going to be part of the Fair Trade Tartan Clan at the Tartan Day Parade in New York in April 2023. This is an amazing opportunity for our young people, some of whom have never been abroad before. We will need to raise £55,000 for the trip to be possible. So let's take a bite into the "Big Apple".
