Story

I am a musician who loves to play the violin. I have recently formed a string quartet called 'Salon Strings'. We have played for weddings all round the home counties this summer and are looking forward to our fund-raising concert in September. We have chosen the charity Young Epilepsy because they are the only charity of their kind in the UK. I wish to help this charity because many years ago, as a young Mum, my own son was for some years quite ill with one of the 40 different types of epilepsy. Research was new in this field at the time, but thankfully now more can be done to help the children suffering from this condition. All funds raised will help to move research and practical help forward for these children and their families.
