Aimee KIte is raising £1,000 for Barnsley Youth Choir CIO
About
I am cycling the Coast 2 Coast route from Workington, Cumbria to Tynemouth, Newcastle over the weekend of May 12th to raise funds for Barnsley Youth Choir. It is a total distance of approximately 140 miles with lots of very big hills to tackle including the highest point on the Nation Cycle Network!!! I had a bad fall from my bike a few weeks ago and have a hairline fracture on my wrist which made the event in doubt. I'm glad to say I've been given the all clear to continue but some strong painkillers might have to be used!! Barnsley Youth Choir choir has been invited to represent Great Britain in the prestigious European Choir Games in Riga, Latvia in July 2017 and they need support to make this possible. Barnsley Youth Choir is a registered charity and voluntary organisation that supports an amazing team of children who live in an area of rich and proud heritage but significant deprivation. We provide outstanding opportunities for over 300 children to access world class training, give exceptional performances in this country and abroad, empower young people and strengthen connections throughout the local community; irrespective of a child’s background or financial status. Barnsley Youth Choir has become a flagship ensemble that represents the town on a local, national and international stage. Thank you for visiting our Givey page. When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure.
