Alan Stickland is raising £5,000 for Monday's Child UK
About
We are a team of six who are attempting to complete the Arch to Arc challenge from Marble Arch in London to the Arc du Triomphe in Paris in September 2015. This ultra-distance triathlon is no mean feat: a 140km run to Dover, a Channel Swim and a 290km bike ride into Paris. Rotating on the hour, the time will be split equally between the team. We plan to raise money for two great causes: - Community Action Nepal's Earthquake fund. CAN are a grass roots, community based charity who are committed to Nepal for the long haul...not just in the immediate aftermath of the devastating earthquake - Monday's Child, a charity specialising in supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people on the South Coast and in Sussex Please use this site to give to both causes as funds will be collected here and split equally. And IMPORTANTLY please do take the time to register with the site as it means we can thank you for your contribution, and benefit from Gift Aid! There are six of us taking the long route to Paris: Chris Percy, Jonny Priestley, Hillary Whitworth, Nick Sword, Dan Bradshaw and Alan Stickland (me). Thank you for your help and see you in Paris!
