🎶 Help Us Build a Cultural Bridge Between the UK and Ukraine

Please share with your friends and ask them to share with theirs!

This profoundly important opportunity has come together only in the past few days — which is why our emergency fundraising efforts are launching now, with a fast-approaching deadline. Now that we have the green light from the British side of the project, there is a great deal of preparation and logistics to organise before the Baroque delegation travels to Ukraine on 16 November.

Following complex discussions — prompted by the difficult reality that Ukraine remains a war zone — our UK-registered nonprofit Music Will Save The World, together with leading British Baroque specialists, is now preparing a British Baroque delegation to travel to Ukraine in November with our founder and singer Anna Starushkevych (Winner of the International Handel Singing Competition in London) to perform alongside Ukrainian musicians at the Lviv Early Music Festival.

It has now been confirmed that three wonderful artists — a harpsichordist, a violinist, and a viola da gamba player — will join this historic project. Their presence, and the sharing of their world-class experience and knowledge, will be immensely valuable for Ukraine’s emerging Baroque scene.

The concert is scheduled for 22 November at the Lviv National Philharmonic and will be preceded by a full week of intensive daily rehearsals. As part of our commitment to education and knowledge exchange, we will also hold an open rehearsal day for Lviv music students interested in learning about Baroque style and historical instruments — offering them a rare opportunity to observe the creative process first-hand and learn directly from leading specialists.

In the country where historical instruments are still rare, and musicians — especially men — are severely limited in their access to in-person training due to wartime international travel restrictions, this collaboration will inspire, educate, and help lay the foundations for a vibrant future for the Baroque scene.

This project is about much more than a concert. It marks the first-ever British Baroque delegation to perform in Ukraine, and it is the first step in building a long-term cultural bridge between the UK and Ukraine — one rooted in collaboration and solidarity.

We are in urgent need of funds to cover

- Weekly fees for daily rehearsals (twice a day)

- Concert fees

- Travel expenses for the British delegation

- Essential administrative and logistical costs

If you, like us, feel that this is an important and deeply meaningful cause, please support this fundraising effort!

💡 Here’s how you can help:

- If 175 people donate £50 each, we will reach our goal.

- If 375 people donate £20 each, we will reach it too.

- If 750 people donate £10 each, we WILL reach the target!

We really need your help! Every single contribution — no matter the size — helps make this historic project possible.

Please consider supporting this emergency campaign and sharing it widely within your circle. If each of us shares it with ours, and they share it with theirs, we will raise the amount in no time.
