The staff of Caddy Veterinary practice are running the Belfast marathon on the 4th May 2015 to raise money for Homeward bound through Assisi. This is a charity close to our hearts, we work with them every week to rescue unwanted and stray dogs from the pounds, vaccinate, neuter them and send them to the Dog's trust in England to be rehabilitated and find new homes! These are dog's that would most likely be put to sleep if this charity wasn't up and running and therefore we feel it is a really worthy cause. Last year alone we neutered 790 dogs for the charity, that's 790 lives saved... but there is still more work to be done!! We want to raise money to help the charity fund suitable kennels, bedding, food and medicine for these dogs to allow us to have an equally if not more successful year next year!!
