I turn 50 this month and it is also 4 years since I started my chemo for Stage 3 breast cancer. During my time at the hospital I used the equipment and resources that Pink Events have donated to St James Breast Care Unit. You can actually see the money going to good use. Money is part of the challenge but awareness is so important. Would I be here to celebrate 50 if I hadn’t found my lump? Did I check because I went to fundraisers for Pink Events, probably. Lastly 100 miles may not seem like much but I had reduced heart function after chemo which has taken a lot to regain. Still not great at walking up slopes 😂
