The Aberdeen Roughnecks AFC, in association with sponsor RigDeluge®, are fundraising for CLIC Sargent via the "Rally Round for Children with Cancer" rally event in the granite city. Our cheerleaders have been set an ambitious target of £2000 raised for this worthwhile and important cause. By donating here, you can help our girls make a real difference to the lives of families in this country: CLIC Sargent is there from the point of diagnosis and helps the whole family cope with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement. "CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people and their families. We support children and young people with cancer from birth to 24 years-old and provide clinical, practical and emotional help using specialist nurses, social workers, youth workers and play specialists. We also provide financial help to meet extra costs, free accommodation close to specialist cancer centres for families and holidays in the UK."
