About
If you can see that picture, the one of a dapper looking chap in a field in front of some cars, that's my Dad. Good looking chap eh? Must be genetic... You will note that, despite being in a field somewhere in the vicinity of Brands Hatch, he's immaculately turned out (unlike the shirtless bloke behind him). He was like that you see. Wore a shirt and tie and shoes even when he was servicing the Volvo in the back garden. 2015 marks twenty years since my family and I, and in particular my Dad, benefited from the fantastic care and support provided by St Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne. In memory of Dad, I'm spending a year fundraising for St Wilf's. You can learn more about what I'm getting up to - and why - on my blog at tomelliott.me.uk, or on Facebook (facebook.com/dadsgrand). I've set myself a target of 1000. That's not much (it costs 11,000 a day to keep the place going) but those two hours or so we fund could be a pivotal two hours in somebody's life. Thank you, on behalf of everyone who continues to receive the love and care provided by this remarkable organisation, for any donation you can make.
