phil moore is raising £1,000 for Permaculture Association
About
1,000 miles, 1,000 pounds | Land's End to John O'Groats I want to turn treads into quids, to spin 1,000 miles into 1,000 pounds. This April I will be cycling from Land's End to John O Groats as a tour leader for the social enterprise Break the Cycle. I want my efforts to help the work of the UK national charity the Permaculture Association. They have launched a scholarship fund to sponsor the travel of individuals from as wide and as far as Belize and Kazakhstan to attend the 2015 International Permaculture Convergence (IPCUK) in London this September. Your contribution will have the two fold action of directly contributing to the IPC scholarship fund and being a pecuniary investment of faith in my ability to complete this journey. For three weeks Brake the Cycle will be travelling over a 1,000 miles across the UK miles visiting small holdings, organic farms, and permaculture demonstration sites. We will be cycling an alternative route from the traditional 'End to End' itinerary exploring permaculture in action. Brake the Cycle is a social enterprise curating cycle adventures that inspire and empower participants. I want to extend the spirit of travel and adventure by contributing to the efforts of the Permaculture Association. Raising 1,000 pounds will go directly toward the Permaculture Association IPCUK scholarship fund -- to have someone from every country practising permaculture at the IPCUK. You can donate as little or as much as you'd like. Just hit the donate button. Thank you!
