Sharon Claughton is raising £100 for Harrison's Fund
About
We are a group of friends and family who have entered into the London West Tough Mudder Event on 27 April 2014. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Harrison's Fund and get fit in the process. Tough Mudder is not easy. It is a hardcore 10 - 12 mile-long obstacle course designed by the Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. Harrison's Fund is a charity set up with one sole aim: To get as much money as possible into the hands of the world's best researchers, who are working to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. At present, there is no cure for this life limiting, genetic illness, but with money raised through events such as this one Harrison's Fund can invest in research that takes the science out from the lab, and into human clinical trials. So that, hopefully soon, more of those with Duchenne can grow into the strong men they're meant to be. Please sponsor us for as much as you can, all sponsorship is very gratefully received. With heartfelt thanks: Laura Trujillo, Steven Green,Mary Kwok, Kathryn Brough, Richard Birks, Natalie Skinner, Nicole McWilliams, Simon McWilliams, Pete Harrison, Jennifer Virgo, Robert Harrison, Alex Smith, Donna Smith, Claire Paisley, Mic Conetta, Debbie Conetta, Nicole Walker, Nicola Potts, Justin Manly, Sharon Claughton, Darren Claughton and David Hall
