John Robertson is raising £300 for The Bradby Club
About
Bradby Old boys Dean Logue and Luke Manders will be undertaking a white collar charity boxing event on the 28th May At the Alan Edward Higgs Centre, Allard Way, Coventry, CV3 1HW. They would like to raise funds to go towards Bradby’s work with young people. Both Dean and Luke regularly attended Bradby in their youth benefitting from a range of activities, opportunities and trips and they still train in the club’s community gym to this day. They have seen first-hand the positive impact boxing and sport can have on a young person’s life that encourages and supports them to stay on track and reach their potential. For that reason, Dean and Luke will be raising money for gym, boxing and sporting equipment that can enhance young people’s experience and increase engagement at the centre. Keeping sporting equipment up to date is a constant funding struggle for us as it is used so frequently by so many young people as part of so many of our services and projects. This money will ensure that we can continue to offer free sporting opportunities for young people throughout the summer and beyond that support them to be active, physically and mentally well and stay engaged in positive activities. Please support Dean, Luke and Bradby Club in our work with local young people. We can’t do what we do without you.
