Four Peaks, Four Countries Challenge 2026 Objective – To get fit, complete a challenge, raise some money and have some fun. Charity Supported The Harry Johnson Trust https://theharryjohnsontrust.co.uk/ The plan – Over the course of several days to climb all four of the highest peaks in the United Kingdom. Ben Nevis, Scotland, 1345m, ascent/decent time 7-9 hours, circa 10/11 miles. Scafell Pike, England, 978, ascent/decent time 4-6 hours, circa 6 miles. Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon, Wales, 1085, ascent/decent time 7-9 hours, circa 7/9 miles. Slieve Donard, Northern Ireland, 850m, ascent/decent time 4-6 hours, circa 6 miles. Participants are invited to join for all of, or a selection of the walks. All we ask is that anyone joining us contributes £25 for each hill they undertake into the charity pot supporting this deserving organisation. However, participants are also very welcome to raise additional sponsorship increasing the Four Peaks Challenge funds or having paid the initial £25 per Peak walk in support of a charity close to their own hearts. So, this venture is a vehicle that can support multiple charities. Participants will be responsible for their own transport and accommodation arrangements. From conversation amongst the initial people expressing interest there will be some going by motorbike and staying in B&B, some camping, some travelling by campervan, in essence everything is in the hands of participants. The intention will be to set up a WhatsApp group for participants to share their arrangements leaving open the possibility for evening get togethers or share transport.
