‘Eva is a 15-year-old girl from the Nakivale Refugee Settlement. She is a Congolese national currently living in the camp with her parents. Eva was one of the beneficiaries of a recently concluded education project in the settlement. She had successfully completed Primary Seven but has since dropped out of school due to her family's inability to afford the necessary school requirements. Even the business they had started is no longer in existence because the entire capital was eaten up by the family after the cut off of the USAID. During a recent visit to Nakivale [on 11th September], Eva was assessed by a doctor [our dermatologist Dr. Ngobi] and urgently referred for a cancer operation.’ We are seeking funding to support this operation Thank you for visiting our Givey page.
