The Andrew Clark Trust funds the Vera Thomson School in Rakhine State Myanmar (www.myanmaraid.org.uk) and that over recent times of extreme turmoil the students and their families have been displaced resulting in famine and sickness. The current urgent need is to raise money to buy food & medicines. All funding goes directly to aid people displaced by the recent earthquake. I live in Myanmar and have seen the devistation of the earthquake. The recovery will carry on for many months, long after the earthquake. The hot season is upon us with temperatures in the high 30 degrees and more. Soon the rainy season will start. It is so important to ensure diplaced people continue to receive food, water and shelter until they have a home of their own once again.
