Moving on from rowing, a 10-year passion of mine, I was ready for a new challenge, completing an Ironman is something I had toyed with for a long time but not something I was sure I could do! With the support of Newsteer, I decided I was ready to take on the challenge! As a part of this challenge, I will be raising money for Make Space for Girls. Make Space for Girls is a great charity whose work speaks to my core loves - the built environment and playing outside. Make Space for Girls recognised that there are few if any public play spaces made and designed for girls and are campaigning to change this! So please, help me raise funds for the work Make Space for Girls are doing and join me on my journey to see if Gilli can Ironman!
