Last year, Han & Hen took a group of St Peter's Church interns to Hong Kong for a two week trip to St Stephen's Society. Jackie Pullinger founded St Stephen's Society over 50 years ago to support the broken and see the addicted set free. On the trip our eyes were opened to the realities of addiction and poverty, and the power of Jesus to turn people's lives around. We witnessed what can only be described as the miraculous, and heard countless stories of radical transformation. We spent time with the brothers and sisters in rehabilitation at St Stephen's, serving the local people through homework clubs, creative arts classes, manual labour, plus tending the farms they own, gate duty at the centre, and teaching English to the teenagers onsite. Both of us returned humbled, fired up, and forever changed.
In March 2020 we're going back to serve St Stephen's again and would love your support. The cost for £1000 pp covers our flights and basic accommodation in Hong Kong, plus travel and food expenses whilst we're there.
