Hi Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, I hope you will donate generously or as much as you feel is affordable to you. While saying this i feel the need to advise you that the Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) said : “Charity does not decrease wealth.” With the blessing of Allah; give what you feel is right in your heart and In sha Allah you will be rewarded for your donations and Intentions Immensely. The current situation in Yemen is desperate, the healthcare system is on the brink of collapse, and are fearful that countless lives will be lost not only to COVID-19 but as a result of malaria, cholera, dengue fever and other diseases. Yemen is now in need of international donors to provide immediate relief to help the millions who have already endured five years of warfare. On 2nd June 2020 the UN Secretary-General had said that it is now a race against time for Yemen. Already, four out of every five people, 24 million people in all, need lifesaving aid in what remains the world's largest humanitarian crisis. More than 30 of the 41 UN-supported programmes in Yemen will close in the coming weeks if additional funds are not secured. Now, more than ever, the country needs the outside world's help. A £40 donation could provide a food pack for an entire family of 7 for a whole month. The foundation I am working with is providing food, water, healthcare, education and support for orphans. Bare in mind 48% of the population of Yemen are children. Innocent little people who are being robbed of basic necessities, losing their families, and suffering beyond comprehension physically, emotionally and mentally. It could be anyone in that situation. If your reading this you are far more privileged imagine your children feeling no-one is coming to help. That’s what made me start this page. They need You! Even a penny will help. My target is to reach and hopefully exceed £10,000 to support my chosen charity which is Saba relief. I hope you will find it in your hearts(and pockets) to support me in this fight against time.
