Following an injury to my ankle in November 2023 I was told I’d never be a marathon runner.. so I decided after some inspiration from friends to go for a Triathlon! PAFRAS is an amazing charity aiming to end destitution, increase access to social justice and advocate for the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum in Leeds. If you live in Leeds they also accept physical donations, all info available on their Instagram Pafras_Leeds. I know every penny will be going to a good cause and I couldn’t think of a more deserving charity to raise money for my first triathlon (and first ever competitive event!)
