Hazel Douglas is raising £100 for Myasthenia Gravis Association
About
Right I've decided that I need to get my swimming mojo back in place so I am going to swim the equivalent of North to South Queensferry AND BACK which is 4.5km (or 200 lengths of Warrander swimming pool). Now I've not completely lost the plot - as most of you know this will need to attempted over several sessions so my muscles/fatigue behave! With that in mind I am hopefully going to raise a few pennies for Myaware - the Myasthenia Gravis Association. Here is a link to the organisation in case you've not heard me bleating on about it! http://www.myaware.org MG is a very rare autoimmune neuromuscular disorder and has resulted in 13 admissions to critical care for me over the last 14 years. Sometimes fully ventilated, sometimes not..... but always very ill. I've also had countless admissions to the neurology unit at the WGH. So when I sort out a giving page I'll post it on my feed. I hope to raise 100 for Myaware any donation (however small) will be appreciated - but your support is more important!!!
