I am running the Great North Run this year to try and raise loads and loads of cash for this vital cause. Any amount you can give at all, however big or small, will be massively appreciated and every penny will make those 13 miles that much easier (or at least more worthwhile!) Barely any of us will be lucky enough to avoid being affected by dementia at some point in our life, I already know from personal experience what a cruel disease it is and particularly the effect it has on the families of those suffering. Alzheimer's society are providing vital help and support to people living with dementia and their families every single day and funding critical research. Thank you for helping to fight this devastating disease. Wish me luck (I'm gonna need it)!!
