Jonathan Rogers is raising £300 for Alzheimer's Society
About
2014 saw the loss of two of the best people that I have had the pleasure of knowing. Sadly, both my Grandma and Nana passed away last year. Dementia is caused when the brain is damaged by diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease or a series of strokes. It is something that has an impact not only on the individual suffering but also on family and friends and I want to help this great charity make inroads into helping those who are suffering most. We are all living longer and this means we face the potential of being affected by dementia in our life time, whether it is individually or helping to provide care for a loved one. Therefore I have decided to put myself to the test and run the London Marathon this year in an effort to help raise some money for the Alzheimer's Society and help to support the great work they have been and will continue to do.
