About
I'm taking part in the Prospect 10k on 22nd February 2015 and would be grateful for your support. This is a real challenge for me, not really being the sporty type. I started running at the beginning of November 2014 with this event as my goal and so far have managed to increase my mileage to 8.3k. A work colleague tells me that adrenaline will get me through the rest! I am running in memory of Pauline Hall who passed away at Prospect in October 2013. Pauline was a lady I'd known all of my life and was an inspirational character. She was the previous Leader of the Brownie unit I now run and heavily involved in the guiding community both in Purton and within the wider community of Wiltshire North. Those who have a connection with guiding will know the significance of the date of the run as it's World Thinking Day. When I saw the run advertised for this date it was that fact which spurred me on as it seemed so wholly appropriate. Any donation you can make towards the wonderful work that Prospect do would be greatly appreciated, but I'd be equally grateful for any positive vibes you can send me on the day!
