It's 24/7 Samaritans Awareness Week until Tuesday 31st July

raised of £1,500 target from 18 people

Hear Their Roar works with children and young people from the slums and streets in Africa. These children and young people are going through unimaginable trauma, some are in gangs, or on drugs, many are being sexually exploited and all are experiencing domestic violence. We invest in emotional health and communication skills, restoring identity and renewing hope. I will be going out to work with them on creating music as a means of expression, and a way to build relationships as a bridge to meaningful conversation about their futures. I spent most of my childhood in Nairobi and this project is very dear to my heart. We will be working with AMREF, who are there on a permanent basis, helping to get these young people off the streets and into education. Any donations go directly towards the cost of the project which is entirely voluntary. Please give generously, these young people are so worth our support.
