I’m running a 5k for ‘Cities for Children’ at Battersea Park on 16th October. I’ve decided to run for Cities for Children because they help children who are otherwise invisible, on the margins of cities in Pakistan. Cities for Children believes that every child deserves the right to a childhood - to be able to read, play and feel safe regardless of their background. Last year alone, their creative programmes enabled over 1000 street-connected children without access to digital options to continue learning during COVID-19 school closures. Your support would make a big difference to this small charity, going directly towards their programmes creating happy memories and building resilience for children in challenging circumstances.
