About

Support us as we Kiltwalk for Camp!

Youth Worker's Jamie Pringle & Karen Campbell of West Glasgow New Church & Wheel Trust are taking on Glasgow’s Kiltwalk - the Mighty Stride, on 28th April, walking 23 miles to raise funds for SUHolidays Camps & events this summer.

Can you help us support young people to attend or even sponsor the cost for a young person to attend Connect in the City this summer and help us raise £3000!

At Connect in the City, we aim to give young people across the wider Glasgow area the opportunity to have an accessible holiday-like experience where finance, location and residential aspects are not barriers to attending. Young people would be invited to experience in activities (onsite and offsite), eat together, and have the opportunity to experience a Christian community. Exploration sessions will be a key part of each day, allowing young people to hear the gospel message and respond to the significance of Jesus in a way that is appropriate to them.

Connect in the City - a camp-like experience right in the west end of Glasgow - costs us around £150 for each young person to attend. Young People are charged on a pay-what-you-can scheme of up to £50 to ensure finance is no barrier to them attending. Can you sponsor a young person to ensure we can fund this event this year - It is lining up to be an epic event!!

You can support and donate here: https://www.givey.com/kiltwalkforcamp

Whether it’s £5, £20 or the total amount to sponsor a young person, each donation goes straight to funding young people in Glasgow to attend an SU camp or event this summer.

Thank you so much!
