Thank you for visiting my Givey fundraising page šŸ˜Š

When I found out I had a ballot place in the London Marathon and the panic of running 26.2 miles settled down I knew I wanted to raise money for Frontline19 to help them continue their amazing work.

Frontline19 are an organisation that provides a free and confidential psychological support service for NHS and other frontline staff to help deal with the difficulties and stresses that can be encountered in the service of others. Rather than run from these difficulties, Frontline 19 help tackle them head on, when NHS and other frontline staff need it most. So, I am going to run towards the London Marathon finish line, every step of the way, to help support Frontline19 financially as best I can.

From November 2020 ā€“ April 2021 I worked with a Frontline19 professional who volunteered their time to help me. This support was invaluable in helping me to face the day to day challenges of working on a covid ward. They just listened, they gave me a safe supportive space to talk about whatever I needed to without judgement. I know many of my amazing colleagues also used this service who found the help invaluable. I am forever grateful for the help Frontline19 provided and continues to do so for so many others.

Any donation would be a great help and really appreciated by myself, all the other frontline staff out there who might be using Frontline19 as you read this, or those who may need it in the future. Thank you.
