Lina Hannaford is raising £1,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity
About
I'm known for my hair. It's been many funky colours over the years. That's why I've decided to shave it off. On November 14th 2013 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I had brain surgery just four days later, and started my long road to recovery. Recovery? What does that mean? I'll never be the person I was before my illness. I'm adjusting to the New Normal. The Brain Tumour Charity has been vital to me in helping me make those adjustments. Brain cancer is the biggest cancer killer of children and young adults, and yet only received around 3% of government and major cancer charity research funding in 2014. The Brain Tumour Charity has committed over £18 million to brain tumour research, and supports the 30 people diagnosed every day with a brain tumour, the families of the 5,000 who die a year from one and the 102,000 people who live with a brain tumour in the UK. Thank you for your support. Thank you for visiting my Givey page. When you make your donation through Givey, the charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the charity you donate to.
