Maisie Dures Taylor is raising £150 for Polymicrogyria Family Support
About
Hello! I’m running the Great North Run for the first time this year to raise money for Polymicrogyria (PMG) Family Support. This charity aims to raise awareness and to provide support to improve the lives of families affected by PMG in the UK and Ireland. PMG means too many very small folds in the brain, which results in the brain being unable to process the information it receives like a normally formed brain. The signs and symptoms associated with it depend on how much of the brain, and which particular brain regions, are affected. PMG is very rare and as all cases are very different, Doctors are unable to give a prognosis on what lies ahead for adults and children who have PMG. Anything you can donate to support this small charity will be greatly appreciated, thank you!! Xx
