Megan David is raising £250 for Bridgend County Crossroads, Caring for Carers
About
On Saturday 26th March 2016 the renowned IAAF World Half Marathon Championships will arrive in Cardiff, for what is set to be one of the most prestigious and enthralling UK endurance events of recent years. I will be taking part in the half marathon to raise money for Bridgend County Crossroads. It is a Charity close to my heart based in Porthcawl but helps carers across Bridgend County Borough. Crossroads' aim is to relieve the stress experienced by carers, as well as adults and children who have care needs, as a result of disability, illness, or age, by offering a respite service through the provision of community based support to benefit people across Bridgend County Borough. Crossroads aims to improve the quality of carers’ lives, by giving them peace of mind that their loved ones are receiving the highest standard of care with services tailored to meet their needs regardless of their health conditions as well as meeting the carers’ needs. Crossroads provides care at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. I have been training in the wind, cold and rain for the past few months and am aiming to complete the half marathon in as close to 2 hours as possible. Please donate what you can to support this worthwhile cause. Thank you so much for your support. Love Megan
