Thank you for visiting our Givey page. They say 'drastic measures call for drastic action' and that is why we have set up this givey.com fundraiser. Spencer Contact Charity in Northampton has been running for 26 years and in this time has provided hundreds of families with furniture that they desperately needed and what's more, we've done it FREE OF CHARGE! We just love to help people in need, whatever the reason, whatever the item needed, we will do our very best to try and alleviate furniture poverty. AND it's not just furniture we hand out but free household items like clothes airers, pots & pans and so much more. We make a difference to people in need and we love turning their empty houses into comfortable, equipped homes. BUT ... sadly our lovely warehouse in Northampton needs some work doing to the roof. We have a very kind roofer who is willing to help us and a firm of scaffolders at the ready but we need to raise £5k to cover the cost of doing this vital work. The actual work would cost waaayyyyyy more but we are indebted to Sewards Roofing who have helped to reduce this cost dramatically. So we are turning to the general public to help us raise these funds in order that we can get the problem rectified asap. Can you help us? Do you have a few pounds to spare?
