Nargis hit the country of Myanmar on the night of May 2 and continued its devastation till the next morning. Over 80,000 square Km areas with high population density were under the slam of the cyclone that claimed nearly 140,000 people. Another few hundred thousand people went to missing. The United Nations estimated that Nargis affected 2.4 million people and rendered thousands families homeless. Similarly Nargis demaged over 800,000 house, including schools and hospitals. After cyclone, the thousands of people who are from affected area, come out to Myanmar-Thailand border (Mae Sot)that to find job because they have no job to work and without a roof over their head and on enough money to sprint for their livelihood and consumption AWU(Arakan Worker Union) could save about 127 Nargis cyclone victims who come from exaggerated area of Myanmar to Mae Sot, Thai to hit upon job by utilizing the cremation of Donor (SVA/NDN/ADSIC/ PFB/EAT). And subsequently we could hold up their consumption and livelihood and in addition giving sewing and knitting mechanism training about six months. There were so kids in those families of Nargis Cyclone who living in AWU emergency save house. Due to political, economic and social crises by military predecessor and successors for over five decades in Burma, majority grass- root level classes are very difficult for survival inside the country, as a result a large number of suffering civilian people have been taking refuge into Thailand, with illegal migrant status, this being the case, this learning center was Mae Sot District, Tak province, Thailand in to fill up needed educational blanks for the migrant children. Consequently, we conversed about the future education of Nargis victim’s children to continuous for their education. After discussion about how we can help the situation of the children’s education with the leader of AWU. Accordingly we established the Shwe Tha Zin Learning Centre on 22, November, 2018 in Khan Phi Ban village with the endeavor for their future education will be more attractive. AWU pedestal this school for the children of Nargis cyclone victims because the education is very important for the children in future. Those students were taunght the Grate 1 to Grade 5 by U Koe Wi Da(monk) and 3 volunteer teachers by taking conversation from school committee. After 3 months, a quantity of bodies who come form Mae Tao Mai village said that there were many children who have no education and can’t attend to other school. With the intention that, we departed to the Mae Tao Mai village to observe on invitation of the villagers. Really there were some Nargis victim’s families and many different ethnic families were living and working in the filed around the Mae Tao Mai village. Therefore we stimulated this migrant learing centre to mae Tao Mai village that area have not migrant school that it is for 11 kilos from Mae Sot center.
