On 18 March 2018, I will be participating in the Hampton Court Half Marathon in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. For those of you who don’t know, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is a community-based hospice service providing support for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in North and Central London and Hertsmere. There are over 1,200 babies and children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in North and Central London but, tragically, no children’s hospice building. Through their ‘Building the Ark’ campaign, Noah’s Ark are raising funds to build North and Central London’s only hospice building, one that will not only look after children and families but will also be a centre for the community.
