We are taking part in a bike ride that the Kenyan Orphan Project is organising in November 2014. We will be cycling from Uganda to Kenya to raise funds for KOP's work supporting child health programmes and we will be visiting the projects in and around Kisumu on the edge of Lake Victoria at the end of the ride.
The ride is 460km over five days. Which would probably quite doable if we weren't on entry level mountain bikes and on some purportedly pretty rough roads. And that would also probably be ok if there wasn't a massive 140km to cover on our second day. So maybe sponsor us just for that mammoth twelve hour day. Or actually, sponsor because...
KOP is committed to sustainable projects that help orphaned and vulnerable children in Western Kenya. The charity's priority is the improvement of the education, health, nutrition and social welfare of children in order to improve their prospects for the future which it currently does across .
