About
we are We are raising money for a sensory cabin for use the children at the Phoenix Centre for Autism at Cage Green School. A sensory cabin will provide children with a place where they can do what are known as sensory circuits at the beginning and during the day. Research has shown that multi-sensory environments and sensory circuits increase concentration and alertness, improve social relationships and communication and prepare pupils holistically for learning. Occupational Therapists have advised us that many of our pupils would benefit from a sensory diet with sensory integration ‘snacks’ throughout the day. The money raised will be entirely used to benefit the children in the Centre. Any support that you can give, no matter how small, will make a difference (and if you can gift aid the money then the government pays too!).
