Simon Tamlin is raising £300 for The Stroke Association
About
19Apr15: Thanks to all who have helped achieve the target of £300 sponsorship. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and the money raised will help the Stroke Association continue their good work. Your donations along with money raised and promised off line will mean we'll have raised well over £400 in total. As for the run itself, I finished at around 9.30pm yesterday. 105km or 65 miles in old money. The weather couldn't have been better on the day and neither could the support crew, to whom I owe a great debt of thanks. Today will be a day for sitting in the sun and possibly a few well earned cold beers. Thanks to all again. Simon 16Apr15: Great start to the funbidraising although some people have said they are having trouble donating on here. I used givey as it's one of the few sites which gives 100% of the donation to the charity but if you are having trouble you can email me at simontamlin@gmail.com and I'll send my bank details so you can transfer to me and I'll put the donation through. Thanks. 62 mile run from Clevedon Pier in Somerset to Penarth Pier near Cardiff following coastal paths on both sides of the Severn estuary and crossing the 'old' Severn Bridge. Raising money in support of the Stroke Association to help towards research and the awesome support they provide for those affected. More info is given on the Stroke Association website: http://www.stroke.org.uk/fundraise/what-your-donation-can-do Any support you can give would really be appreciated! Many thanks Simon
