However, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for small organisations like Routes to secure the funding they need to keep their doors open. As we witness hostility towards refugees and asylum seekers intensifying - through rising anti-immigration rhetoric, harsher asylum policies, and growing pressure from the far right - their work has never been more necessary.

This fundraiser is not just about Routes’ future - this is saying loudly and clearly that refugees deserve more. This is refusing to accept a world where those seeking safety in the UK are left to rebuild their lives alone. This is about community, solidarity and the belief that everyone, regardless of where we were born, deserves the chance to flourish.
