Dogs Helping Kids is the UK’s unique charity dedicated to using highly trained dogs to help teach children non-violence, empathy, respect, kindness, love, responsibility, friendship and trust.
We are one of the only organisations in the country training and assessing dogs purely to work in the school, college, and library environment as both educational and therapeutic aids. The impact our School Dogs have on children and teenagers in the educational environment is amazing and changes lives forever. It is our vision to have a DHK School Dog working in every school, college and library across the country.
DHK is in desperate need of your support! Like many small charities funding is a constant battle and we need your help to ensure we can continue helping today's children to become the very best adults of tomorrow.
With your help we can continue to work with children all over the country and enhance lives to the fullest extent possible.
Our DHK dogs help children daily with building reading skills, self confidence, a sense of value, empathy and understanding and much more!
The future of this charity depends on your support! We need to raise £50,000 over this campaign to ensure the charity can continue to help children in need throughout the UK. All of our funding comes from generous donors like yourself as we are not eligible to receive governmental funding or LEA support - your support really is so needed and will make a huge difference to us!
Help us to change the lives of your children and build amazing dog owners of tomorrow!
We will be launching lots of events over the next few weeks so to keep up to date please join our facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/DogsHelpingKids
Thank you for helping us to Raise DHK and enabling us to keep this incredible charity changing the lives of children in great need of support!
