Homeschooling in the UK is challenging; imagine how difficult it is if you live in a refugee camp and have no access to the internet. During the past couple of months Future Academy's English school has had to suspend face-to-face teaching on two occasions: once for security reasons following a shooting and again when the camp was subject to a full covid-lockdown. Lebanon is struggling with high levels of coronavirus deaths, so lockdowns happen regularly requiring Future Academy to implement remote learning. This involves teachers and TAs collaborating to provide learning materials for up to 50 children and introducing a contactless door-to-door delivery and collection service so our children's education is able to continue. Many thanks for your donation - it will enable our children to continue learning, which is their best chance for a productive future.
