About
RGA UK are proud supporters of wHoo Cares and our team of Wingwalkers are taking to the skies to raise vital funds so they can continue to provide the invaluable support to residents of the Hoo Peninsula. Our Wingwalking team comprises of Emma Wilkins, Anne Codling, Jennie Calder Brown and Peter Banthorpe who are all terrified but excited to be taking on this challenge to raise money for charities close to their hearts. The Hoo Peninsula is a large spur of land separating the estuaries of the River Thames and Medway. Spanning around 13 miles, there is only one major road, serving 13 small villages scattered across marshes and countryside. Transport links very few, there are no large supermarkets and few support services available. People have become very isolated, often very lonely. WhooCares is a community group supporting the vulnerable to reduce social isolation and loneliness by providing activities and support such befriending, shopping, general transport, medical transport and much more. We continue to look for ways to bring improvements in health and wellbeing and a sense of community to the Peninsula. Thank you for visiting our Givey page. When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.
