I'm doing this fundraiser to raise £500 for Silverline Memories
Story
I'm running the Great North Run this year to raise money for Silverline Memories who are a fantastic charity providing 'places to go and things to do' for those living with dementia. They also offer support and advice to carers of those with dementia. I've seen firsthand what a huge difference they made to a family very close to me so any donations no matter how small would be amazing! I'm hoping to raise £500 and I'm fully aware that people do far more impressive things for charity than run 13.1 miles! However having not run anything like this before I started my training on New Years day with a stinking hangover and I've clocked up over 450 training miles and I'm determined to do it justice! When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.
