Nicola Wetherell is raising £1,000 for British Heart Foundation
About
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Like last year, I am running the Great North Run (Half Marathon) on the 7th September 2014 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. However, unlike last year, I have also been brave (read: silly) enough to do the Nottingham Marathon 3 weeks after on the 28th September 2014. That is 39.22 miles in total, around 63 kilometres and around the equivalent of 4,000 calories - or 8.2 big macs. As some of you may know, I am running these events in tribute to a close friend of mine, who sadly passed away in April 2010 following a heart operation. I am doing this to raise awareness for the British Heart Foundation in the name of a truly amazing young man, Adam Cooper, who was sadly taken too young & left many broken hearts behind. Whatever you can donate, please do, however big or small every penny will be greatly appreciated and will will me on across the finish line. I don't have a "target" as such, but hitting the 1,000 mark would be incredible. Every single penny will be donated to the British Heart Foundation through Givey, and every single penny will push me to run that extra bit harder to cross the finish line. THANK YOU.
