Run for Refuge is a 12-month endurance challenge to raise awareness and vital funds for refugees and asylum seekers. From 16 June 2025 to 20 June 2026, I will run at least 6,000 km — that’s nearly 3 marathons every week — to reflect the extraordinary distances many refugees travel in search of safety. This run represents not one journey, but the countless paths taken by people fleeing war, persecution, and hardship worldwide. Every kilometre is a show of solidarity and a call to rethink how we view displaced people. Your support will help fund essential services like housing, legal advice, trauma care, and community support for those rebuilding their lives. Join me by donating, sharing, or running in solidarity — every step counts. All funds raised will go to The Asylum & Refugee Community (ARC), Blackburn. A Charity which does incredible work to support this cause but is forever in vital need of further funding. Please donate, please share, and please operate with kindness first to help promote this cause. You can find updates and a live progress tracker on the ARC social media pages as well.
