Jon Wood is raising £300 for Positive Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers
About
I realised that watching TV and drinking beer wasn’t making me as healthy as I’d hoped and that if I was going to get start exercising then I needed a goal to aim towards. I’ve signed up for the Leeds 10K and at the same time hoping to raise money for a good cause. PAFRAS are an amazing charity offering a lifeline for those most desperately in need of practical help and solidarity in Leeds. People seeking asylum here face deliberately hostile and spiteful treatment from the state and often find themselves literally penniless and battling a complex legal system that is stacked against them. Please visit www.pafras.org.uk for more information on their work and please sponsor my run if you can. Cheers.
