It's Young Carers Awareness Week until Saturday 1st February

So in February I will be once again taking part in The Big Sleep Out at the Bet365 stadium. I have done this for a few years now in order to raise awareness for the many people that have the unfortunate circumstances of being homeless in Stoke-on-Trent. A lot of people for no fault of their own and simply just a run of poor luck/circumstances end up on the streets, often sleeping in doorways/abandoned buildings or maybe even a tent somewhere and have no access to wash facilities or a place to get warm. In this day and age this should simply not happen to anyone so for one night only I will be bedding down outside the stadium. Just one night outside sleeping rough gives a brief glimpse into something a lot of people have to do every single day. I understand times are hard for everybody but any small amount any of you can donate will not only help the Macari Centre who helps put a roof over some of the homeless people of our city as well as helping them to find work but also other local causes within our City and I would appreciate it immensely. When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.
