Hello. My name is Sam, and I am running Berlin half-marathon this April to raise money for Heads Above The Waves. Heads Above The Waves is a not-for-profit organisation that raises awareness of depression and self-harm in young people. Self-harm is something that has directly affected myself and so many people that I love. The work that Heads Above The Waves will do with the assistance of your donation will help young people know that they are not alone in their struggles with self-harm, provide them with tools to cope, and could help them stop or never start self-harming.
