About
Sarah has been working with Leicester City of Sanctuary to provide help and advice with fitness for our service users, and boost community engagement in a more general sense. Not content with just that, she's made the decision to run a half marathon to help raise funds for the charity - money that will go toward providing help and assistance for Asylum Seekers and Refugees arriving in Leicester, as well as a weekly drop-in and regular activities.
Sarah won't be the only one running though! Long time volunteer Nicki Brading will be joining her in this, and helping to raise funds for the charity.
The run is due to take place on the 8th of October, and we're planning to use this site to provide regular updates on her preparation for the event - any donations would be extremely welcome!

over 5 years Bad news... The Leicester HAlf Marathon has been cancelled for safety reasons due to flooding. I'm currently planning to enter another race in order to complete the challenge.... I will keep you updated... -
